Sensory Room

‘Sensory Room’ is a multi-sensory environment to promote language, hand-and-eye co-ordination aiding fine and gross motor skills and develop cognitive skills. Importantly, a safe space to learn in, promoting an all-round development by allowing them to explore and interact with their environment.

It is a bright and colourful room complete with water-wall, sneak-in caterpillar, wonder house, soft toys, ball pit and soft balls of various sizes act as touchy-feely products that enhance a sense of belonging. Little ones are mesmerized while watching the bubble tubes that are lit with an incandescent light and little plastic fishes seem to swim in gentle vibrations of the water caused by an internal pump. A perfect balance of light, music and objects provide a superior environment for Ambassador kids to develop their five senses. The innovative products in the room are such designed that each station offers different functionality with active areas, calming areas and various types of sensory activities. At the flick of a switch or even through a gesture, the sensory room can transform from a calming and soothing place, to an exciting and engaging interactive space full of light and sound! The varied optical, acoustic, olfactory and tactile stimuli help the little ones concentrate and focus better. create an experiential palate for the little ones.

The teachers in their daily observation note the impact of the sensory room in learning. Historical data shows that sensorial learning helps in increased concentration, focused attention, improved alertness, improved mobilization, creativity, social relations and better communications, and general awareness of the surrounding world.
